The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have picked the first and second spots respectively on the presidential ballot sheet for the upcoming 2020 general elections.

Eleven (11) representatives of political parties were present when the Electoral Commission conducted balloting for Election 2020 on Tuesday, October 20, in Accra.

Positions on the 2020 ballot sheet are as follows:

1. NPP
2. NDC
3. GUM
4. CPP
5. GFP
6. GCPP
7. APC
8. LPG
9. PNC
10. PPP
11. NDP
12. Independent Candidate

According to the EC, positions on ballot papers can only be altered or reordered where a candidate withdraws or a political party with a presidential candidate fails to present a parliamentary candidate at certain constituencies.
