Sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, in the Ledzokuku Constituency have been asked to be more sacrificial to enable them to wrestle power from the ruling government in the December polls. They have also been urged to up-their-game in winning more supporters for the NDC.

Former National Communications Officer of the NDC, Solomon Nkansah, gave the advice during the inauguration of the Ledzokuku NDC Youth Working Committees at Teshie. The formation of the working committees at the constituency level is aimed at sensitising the youth to imbibe in the constituents the need to vote the NDC in the December polls. They are also to mobilise resources geared towards facilitating the activities of the party.

Former National Communications Officer of the party, Solomon Nkansah, said: “self-discipline and unity are paramount in annexing victory come December,” adding that, “the youth leaders especially those at the branch level must seriously engage all constituents and imbibe in them what the NDC stands for and reasons for which the NDC is the best party to lead Ghanaians.”

The Parliamentary Candidate for Ledzokuku, Ben Ayiku, maintained that the parliamentary seat must return to the NDC come December 2020, stressing that “it is only the NDC that brings development to the area”.

The Ledzokuku Constituency Youth Organiser, Edwin Ashidam, promised to work assiduously with members of the working committee to ensure that the NDC wins in all polling stations in the Constituency.

Messages from other Constituency youth organisers urged the youth to do away with the many complaints and forge a common front for victory.

The working committees include the Research and Strategic Committee, Finance and Logistics, Operations and Programmes, as well as Welfare and Empowerment. The rest are Student Affairs, Administration, Media and Publicity as well as Youth Patrons.
