The Ahafo Regional Women’s Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by its Women’s Organiser, Mrs. Charity Gardiner joined the Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Abdullaih Jihad Yussif, and worshipers at Goaso, the Regional capital of the Eid ul-Adha celebrations.
Madam Gardiner urged Muslims across the country especially those in the Ahafo region to use the occasion of Eid ul-Adha to live in peace and harmony with one another.
The Ahafo NDC Women’s Organiser called on them to again use the occasion to reflect on the unity and peaceful co-existence between Christians, Muslims, traditionalists, and other religious groups.
The group also donated some items to the leadership of the regional Muslim outfit which was received by the Deputy Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Takrodi.
