Private legal practitioner, Anthony Namoo, has been re-elected the Upper East Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He polled 114 votes to beat five other contenders in the hotly contested regional chairmanship race.
Messrs Mohammed Murtala Ibrahim, Filson Apambila Awankua, Bugri A. Ibrahim, Jerry Asamani and Dr Moses K. Atinga had 4, 42, 11, 36 and 99 votes respectively.
