Anti-Corruption Crusader, Paul Collins Appiah Ofori, popularly called PC Appiah Ofori, has appealed to the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu to put Ghana first and rescind his resignation.
Mr. Appiah Ofori, said President Akufo-Addo must, as a matter of urgency, invite the Special Prosecutor and listen to the reasons why he resigned and resolve them.
In a letter addressed to President Akufo-Addo yesterday, Mr. Amidu said his decision is to enable the President take steps to appoint a replacement as required by law.
Mr. Amidu, who announced his resignation publicly, explained that his decision to go public with his resignation was as a result of developments preceding his report on the Agyapa Royalties Limited Transactions and related matters, describing those developments as a “traumatic experience”.
