Pressure Group, Occupy Ghana says the in-camera probe into the collapse of some seven banks by the Finance Committee of Parliament is an attempt to protect the reputation of persons involved in the Banking fiasco.
The Committee began sitting Wednesday with the MP for Bolgatanga Central Isaac Adongo boycotting the sitting saying it is a mere rubber stamp, because they were not provided with some of the reports on previous investigations.

Mr Adongo’s claims that he did not have the requisite documents needed for the in-camera sitting.

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, “Behind the News”, a Member of Occupy Ghana, Koku Segbefia, said the in-camera approach by Parliament is not in the best interest of the public and will not ensure transparency.
