A member of the ECOWAS parliament and Member of Parliament, (MP) for Bawku Central Constituncy, Mahama Ayariga, has been nominated to represent the ECOWAS parliament at a high level continental meeting of the African Union (AU) scheduled to take place at Nairobi Kenya from June 11 to June 13, 2019.
The primary focus of this high level meeting is to popularize the ratification of the treaty establishing the African Economic Community relating to Free Movement of Persons, Right of Residence and Right of Establishment in the African continent.
Mr. Mahama Ayariga and his colleagues from the ECOWAS parliament will be joined by Parliamentarians and Secretariats of other sub-regional blocs for the deliberations.
