The newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Builsa North District Assembly, Mr. Solomon Akogti Ansoabayie, officially assumed office on Thursday,, 24 April 2025, with a staff durbar to share his vision.
In his maiden address to staff, Mr. Ansoabayie emphasized the importance of teamwork, stating that collective effort would be crucial to achieving the assembly’s developmental goals.
He pledged to operate an open-door policy and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to drive sustainable development in the municipality.
The MCE underscored his commitment to prioritizing key areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education, stressing the need for unity and dedication among workers.
He further assured staff of his administration’s dedication to improving service delivery and ensuring that the assembly’s work meets the needs of the local population.
Mr. Ansoabayie also expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the municipality.
Welcoming the new MCE, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Godfred Bamba, assured him of the assembly’s full support and cooperation.
Mr. Bamba highlighted both the strengths and challenges facing the assembly and provided insights into critical areas that require urgent attention.
Mr. Ansoabayie’s assumption of office comes at a time when the municipality is eager to address its development needs. As he settles into his new role, residents remain hopeful about the prospects for improved living standards and enhanced local governance.
