Coalition unhappy over 'some clauses' in RTI Bill

A member of the Steering Committee of the Right to Information Bill, Elvis Darko, says though the Coalition is glad about the passage of the RTI Bill to enhance good governance, its proper implementation will further improve on the growth and development of the country.

Speaking in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Elvis Darko noted that the coalition is unhappy with aspects of the bill that could not be amended by Parliament before it passage.

Mr. Darko asked the media, civil society and government to educate the public on the RTI law before its implementation next year.
