The National Democratic Congress Presidential Candidate Aspirant, David Dotsey Kwami Kuwadah has asserted that The NDC “is losing its core values, probity and accountable is being replaced by monetization, material inducement that we are presently witnessing”.
According to him, monetization and material inducement has found its way into to the NDC, a statement he attributed to The NDC Founder, Ft Lt Jerry John Rawlings, stressing the fact that, “some of you here can testify to this in our most recent Regional Executives Conference.
But he pledged that these will not happen under his leadership of NDC and Ghana, “in fact corruption will be a thing of the past”.
Economically, my government, that is the NDC taking over power come December 2020, will give priority to industrialization, but certainly not the empty promises as others did like 1D1F by the current NPP government, he mentioned.
Speaking at a news conference in Accra is to publicly announce his preparedness to seek the mandate of the National Democratic Congress Member as a flagbearer to lead the NDC to victory in 2020 presidential election, David Dotsey Kwami Kuwadah said, Technical Parks will be established in every District to encourage The Youth and motivated them to venture into self-reliance enterprises.
“The new NDC Government under David Dotsey Kwami Kuwadah’s Leadership will resource the youth to fully engage in mechanized farming by giving them medium to long term loans. Yes, in fact, we will create Jobs for all”
According to him, he is going to lead and operate civil Democratic revolution that will clear out all the mess and wiped out corruption which he described as the worse enemy of development in any nation, adding that “being president of Ghana on the ticket of NDC come 2020, will place God and Ghana first in everything that we will do as government. The wisdom of God will be used to steering the country. As you all know, the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God”.
“When you look at the country today, the looting of our God given resources in the country is the most talked about. This unhealthy development in our quest to develop our nation has also eaten deeply into our party NDC”.
He said his decision to lead the NDC, stem from the fact that he’s strongly believed in equality…. “our 1992 constitution states that, every Ghanaian is equal before the law, but you will agree with me that, that is the opposite of the reality and practical under our current political dispensation”.
“I shall ensure equality and equity in the country from January 2021. The present system of oppression of the masses and the hardship will be gone forever. No longer brutality of any form.
My government shall also run an effective Agriculture system, not just to produce for consumption but to put an end to most of the things that we import here locally. My government will also expand the production of all that we grow locally so that we can also have an excess and glut to also extend into their exportation”.
The Flagbearer hopeful said “God blessed our land Ghana but the problem is leadership. The system does not encourage the citizens to venture into production here locally. My government will make sure that Ghanaians take full control of the economy and resources of the land”.
Announcing some of policy intervention programs, Mr. Kuwadah notes that, “agriculture will be improved tremendously making it very attractive to the citizenry to venture into, especially the youth. Quality form of social Insurance for farmers will be a priority. Our farmers do not have ex-gratia, so they must be able to benefit from a form of Insurance after retirement. The new NDC will pay child and old age grants”.
