The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has raised concerns about what it describes as a complete disregard of the Covid-19 protocols by political parties in their campaign activities.
For this reason, Chairperson of the Commission, Josephine Nkrumah, has called on the leadership of political parties to encourage their supporters to adhere to the Covid-19 safety protocols as a means of minimising exposure to the pandemic.
This will help prevent a second wave of infections, as regions that had zero cases have now reported some infections.
Madam Nkrumah made this known at a joint Media briefing with the Ghana Medical Association in Accra.
