CPP urges Ghanaians to reject neo liberal market policies as Ghana turns 64

General Secretary of the CPP, Nana Yaa Jantuah

As Ghana celebrates its 64th Independence anniversary today, the Convention People’s Party (CPP), congratulate all patriots and calls on Ghanaians to reject the neo liberal market policies being implemented as a model for development.

A statement signed by its General Secretary, Nana Yaa Jantuah, said 64 years down the lane, the country has been totally shattered by the implementation of neo-liberal market policies.

The statement further said the absence of good educational facilities and systems, lack of good health care systems, inadequate essential amenities and poor sanitation is why the party calls on all to reject the neo liberal market policies.

The CPP therefore urges all to embrace policies that will bring back the development agenda of the nation that started under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
