EC charged to review its mode of recruiting temporary staff to reduce infractions at polling stations

CePTOM, a project Management Think Tank has called on the Electoral Commission to review the mode of recruiting temporary staff who man polling stations during elections.

Presenting a report on elections 2020 its Director of Programs, Joe Ato Bonful suggested that there must be a template across board for the recruitment.

This is to ensure that competent people whose background are known are recruited to reduce infractions at polling stations.

According to the report, the elections generally were ninety-seven percent successful with three percent infractions recorded.
