A Nine-Day Training of Trainers Workshop on the new Biometric Voters’ Registration by the Electoral Commission (EC) has ended at Sefwi Wiawso, the capital of Western-North Region.
It brought together trainers from all the nine Districts and Municipalities in the Region, comprising District Electoral Officers and their Assistants, Registration Supervisors as well as Technicians.
The Western- North Regional Director of EC, Godwin Tawiah Okley, who made this known to GBC’s Radio Ghana, at the close of the workshop said more than 1,400 officials are expected to supervise the registration in the region.
