A Political Scientist, Dr. Seidu Alidu says former President Mahama’s decision not to name a running mate now may prove dicey to his party’s electoral fortunes.
He told Radio Ghana that although Mr. Mahama is being sensitive to the challenges of the time, other factors also make it imperative to make the waiting period worthwhile.
On the impact of COVID-19 on our body politic, Dr. Alidu was of the view that the pandemic presents both positive and negative tendencies.
He said it has re-awakened the spirit of nationalism and increased dependence on technology to sell campaign messages in subtle terms.
