Former Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram Constituency in the Greater Accra region of Ghana and Council of State member, Enoch Teye Mensah (E.T. Mensah) has died at the age of 77.

It is reported that the former Youth and Sports Minister under the Rawlings Administration passed on in South Africa after battling ill-health.

The death of the former Council of State representative for Greater Accra comes on the back of the demise of Former First lady, Theresa Kufuor on Sunday October 1, 2023.

Mr. E.T. Mensah was born on May 17, 1946. He served as a Minister of Youth and Sports and Member of Parliament in Ghana from January 1997 till January 2017.

He was also one of the longest serving Ministers under the National Democratic Congress, NDC, administrations.
