Bilateral relations between Accra and Valletta continue to deepen as a delegation from Malta paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Aviation in Accra.
Ghana and Malta in the coming weeks will sign a memorandum of understanding that would facilitate further collaboration in the aviation sector.
This will take place once Parliament ratifies the agreement.
Aviation Minister, Mr. Joseph Kofi Adda said this when a delegation from Valletta paid a courtesy call on him.

Maltese High Commissioner to Ghana, Silvio Schembri, said “we believe that Africa has huge potential and Africa is the future as well.”
“Then again, we believe that Ghana is a major player in that strategy.”
In response, the Minister for Aviation indicated that Ghana’s aviation sector is ready to cooperate with Malta to promote trade and investment.
“We think that in the immediate, any kind of collaboration between your air operators and our air operators, whether it’s airline or any specialised agencies, I think it would be important for us to get those teams connected.”
Last year, Ghana signed an Air Service Agreement with Malta to pave way for the national carrier of the Mediterranean state to fly directly to Accra.
