Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, says Ghana is strategically positioning itself, to be a key ally of the European Union, as it moves beyond aid.
Speaking at this year’s Ghana – EU Political Dialogue in Accra, Dr Bawumia, said government’s flagship programmes are not mere slogans, but a pragmatic approach in enhancing the living conditions of the people.
He said working hand in hand with partners like the EU, will be a sure way to move beyond aid.
The Ghana-European Union (EU) Political Dialogue is on the theme: “Ghana and the EU — Partners for the future”.
