Former Deputy Minister of Works and Housing, Sampson Ahi has dared the minister of works and housing to proceed to court with his claim that funds for the Saglemi housing project was misappropriated.
According to him, the minister’s allegations are false and borne out of mere political propaganda. He denied the claim that 40 percent mobilisation amounting to 80 million dollars was paid to the contractor for no work done and without any guarantee.
He insisted that only 40 million dollars was paid as mobilisation which was used to procure equipment and other machinery.
