Minister of Energy, John Peter Amewu says government will ensure that the price of power in Ghana becomes competitive to attract the required investment and development for the people.
He said currently the country’s tariff rating is not competitive.
Mr Amewu said this when he inaugurated 26 photovoltaic solar micro-grid for rural health facilities in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region.
The 26 solar powered micro-grid for the rural health facilities is funded by the United Nations Foundation and the UK Aid with the grant of $2.5 million.
