Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, Mr Mussa Dankwah, has said that he would have been “taken to the slaughterhouse” if his prediction for the Akwatia by-election had been wrong.

Speaking in an interview on Citi FM on September 3, 2025, Mr Dankwah explained that some groups were ready to “finish him” if his analysis did not reflect the outcome of the polls.

His comment followed his research on the Akwatia by-election, where he outlined factors likely to influence voting, including development projects and job opportunities.

Mr Dankwa’s work sparked mixed reactions, with some supporting his projections and others dismissing them.

However, the election results on September 2, 2025, confirmed his prediction, as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Bernard Bediako Baidoo, defeated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Solomon Asumadu.
