Former President John Dramani Mahama has embarked on a flagbearership campaign tour of the Volta Region.
The weeklong tour will take Mr. Mahama to all constituencies in the region to meet with
delegates of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC).
The former president, who is seeking the mandate of delegates to lead the NDC to victory in the 2020 elections, has already toured the nine other regions.
Mr. Mahama will speak to delegates on his policy proposals for modernising the NDC, unifying the party and strengthening its structures.
He will also pledge his commitment to work hard to reduce the high cost of living and provide jobs, when elected.
