Jubilee House: Leadership of the “March for Justice” demonstration present petition to President Akufo-Addo

Leadership of the March for Justice demonstration have presented a petition to the President at the Jubilee House.

In the petition, the NDC’s youth wing are demanding among other things:

The National Youth Organiser of the NDC, George Opare Addo presented the petition to Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Jubilee House Emmanuel Adumua-Bossman who received it on behalf of President Akufo Addo.

Earlier on the NDC demonstrators had visited Parliament to present a similar Petition to the Leadership of Parliament.

The NDC went on demonstration to highlight certain security matters and other issues affecting citizens of the country.

Speaking to GBC News, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia says there is insecurity in the country and the party believes some of the killings are state sponsored.

Mr. Aseidu Nketia said there will be insecurity as long as party foot soldiers are recruited into the security agencies.
