The Member of Parliament, (MP), for Madina, Boniface Abubakar Sadiq has expressed satisfaction and optimism in the ongoing referendum towards the creation of the proposed Savannah region from the Northern region.
According to him, the creation of the Savannah region, will in no terms propel the needed development that the areas in the Savannah zone deserve.
Mr. Sadiq said the creation of the Savannah region was long overdue and hence he has been at the forefront of campaigning and garner for support towards today’s referendum.
The Former MP for Salaga who is currently at the office of the Vice President was speaking in an interview with GBC’s northern regional correspondent Joyce Kantam Kolamong at Salaga when he visited some polling centers to observe the exercise and to urge the people to come out in their numbers to vote.
