Mahama set to launch presidential campaign in Volta region

Former President of Ghana and one of the four Presidential Aspirants of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama is set to launch a campaign to lead the NDC as its flagbearer for the 2024 General Election.

The Former President is expected to launch his campaign on Thursday March 2, 2023 at 9.00am in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

In a Facebook post to make the announcement, Mr Mahama said, “Fellow countrymen and women, I will on Thursday March 02, 2023 launch my bid to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the 2024 elections at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Sokode near Ho.   I invite you to either join me in the Cedi Auditorium at UHAS or watch a livestream of the launch on my Facebook page or YouTube channel from 9.00am.”

The former President is contesting the NDC flagbearership race together with three others namely, former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu and 43-year-old UK-based Businessman, Ernest Kobeah.
