Minority MPs to demonstrate against election 2020 results

The Minority Caucus in Parliament will this morning march to the Electoral Commission’s office in protest against the outcome of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary election results.

They have resolved to hit the street today, Tuesday 22nd December, 2020 to register their disagreement with the outcome of the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections, after a crunch meeting last night.

This was contained in a notice served to the Parliamentary Press Corps (PPC) for coverage.

NDC supporters across the country have started demonstrating in all the 16 regional capitals over what they called “fraudulent figures” declared by the Commissioner in favour  of the incumbent president.

On Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020 about ten constituencies in the Volta Region will also demonstrate at Ho, Sogakorpe and other places simultaneously.

The Minority MPs to be led by MP for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu and other party bigwigs
will converge at the Parliament House and walk to the EC Headquarters this morning.
