A number of the smaller Political Parties have shared varied opinions on the Presidential Plane Saga, which has been topical in the past few days.

The Minority in Parliament says it is not satisfied with justifications provided by the Defense Minister, Dominic Nitiwul, on reasons for which the President had to rent a private jet for his recent travels.

Key among the concerns from the Minority is the amount of money spent in renting the private jet for the President.

In an interview with GBC NEWS, Founder and Leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, expressing concern about the cost said the current Presidential jet should rather be properly maintained for the President.

Meanwhile, the LPG says it is not concerned about the cost involved in transporting the President abroad to do business. According to the Founder of the Party, Kofi Akpaloo, the security of the President is paramount.

General Secretary of the CPP, Nana Yaa Jantuah, raised concerns about the justifications provided by the Defense Minister Dominic Nitiwul for renting a Private Jet instead of using the Falcon. She said the country’s resources should be managed prudently.
