The Minority in Parliament has expressed concerns about the list of ministerial nominees submitted to Parliament by the President.

Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu questioned why the President did not find it prudent to nominate new people to infuse new energies and ideas into governance.

He noted the lack of representation from Oti and Upper East regions as well as inadequate number of female nominees for ministerial positions.

  1. I used to admire Haruna but of late I’m getting confused. If , to him, the old ones did well why should the President introduce new faces? Why does Haruna always think that his ideas are the best?
