The wife of Ghana’s Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has interacted with members of the Washington DC chapters of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP), and Loyal Ladies, at their end-of-Summer cookout in Alexandria-Washington, USA.
In a tweeted message, Mrs. Bawumia said they discussed government’s policies and programmes aimed at enhancing the lives of citizens, both home and abroad.
The groups pledged their unwavering support and called on other diasporas also to support the transformation agenda of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his team.
Earlier Mrs. Bawumia joined former US President, Bill Clinton; CEO of (UNICEF) USA, Caryl Stern; CEO of the CleanCooking Alliance, Dymphna van der Lans; music legend, Rocky Dawuni and other global leaders at the “Next 50 Chefs for the Future of Disaster Relief and Climate Resiliency”.
The event celebrates the work of Chef José, the World Central Kitchen as well chefs and kitchens who contribute to making the world a better place for all.
