President Akufo-Addo has pledged the commitment of his government to any programme initiative that seeks to protect the forest cover and also create jobs for the youth.
 
According to him, as Co-Chair of Eminent persons promoting the Sustainable Development Goals, he will work to protect, sustain and promote the forest cover, ecosystem while halting depletion of forest resources.
 
President Akufo-Addo gave the assurance in Kumasi today, when he officially launched the Youth in Agriculture module of the Youth Employment Agency. We bring you Nicholas Osei Wusu’s report.
