The National House of Chiefs has congratulated President Akufo-Addo on his re-election for a second term.
The House also congratulated all parliamentary candidates who won their seats.
President of the House, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi said this at an emergency meeting of the House in Kumasi.
The House was recalled to discuss important national issues including the outcome of the just ended general election.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi used the occasion to outline key areas he will pursue during his term as President of the House.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi also cautioned the public to be cautious with the use of naked fire with the onset of the harmattan.
