The National Democratic Congress (NDC), says the Chief Justice is gradually making the people lose faith in justice delivery as he seems to come strongly against anyone with dissenting opinions on decisions taken by the court.
Briefing Journalists on the petition to the General Legal Council by the Chief Justice, Justice Anin-Yeboah over comments made by former Deputy Attorney General, Dr. Dominic Ayine, General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu-Nketia said Dr. Ayine only expressed an academic opinion and must not be victimised for his opinion.
He has, therefore, appealed to the Chief Justice to withdraw his petition.
Mr. Asiedu-Nketia indicated that the prevailing actions of the Chief Justice only go to wane people’s confidence in the judiciary.
