A Presidential aspirant of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), Goosie Tanoh, says grassroot neglect has been one of the major fallouts in the political terrain of the country.
According to him, party executives and members at the grassroots level play an important role in the victory of any political party but are however, left to their fate after elections.
Speaking in an interview with the media after addressing NDC Executives and some delegates in Tamale as part of his campaign tour to the Northern region, Mr. Tanoh says he will prioritize grassroots empowerment and participation as a means to train and equip members with the needed leadership skills in the community.
He said the presence of NDC branches across the country is not geared towards elections alone but to also lead the community in development and as such they need to be taken care of and looked after.
