NDC Vice Presidential Candidate seeks women’s support for December elections

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang says women face more challenges in areas where there is no access to water, electricity, good roads, schools and hospitals.

She said the NDC has a track record of delivering on developmental and infrastructural projects hence the need to vote for the party’s ticket of John Mahama and herself.

Speaking at a mini-rally at Mpoase in the Ablekuma West Constituency, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang told supporters of the party to campaign on issues rather than trade in insults.

At the Ablekuma Central Constituency, Prof. Opoku Agyemang visited the Sabon Zango Chief of Accra, Alhaji Yaayi Hamisu-Baako and the Chief of Shukura, Hamdi Ibrahim. She then moved to the mini-rally grounds in the Ablekuma West Constituency where the Chief of Mpoase, Nii Addotei Obedeka told the electorate to ensure they join the queue and wait patiently for their turn to cast their ballots on December 7 for the party of their choice devoid of violence.

The Aspiring MP for Ablekuma West Revered Kweku Addo said the NDC will wrest power from incumbent Ursula Owusu Ekuful.

Addressing the crowd, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC said all are welcomed to join the party. She said women turn to suffer most for non-existence of developmental project.

She urged the electorates to campaign with decorum devoid of insults.

Prof. Opoku Agyemang then toured Darkuman Kokompe to campaign among the spare parts dealers and Avenor for a mini-rally.
