Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the 2020 manifesto of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) lacks credibility.

He said the abysmal performance of the NDC in Government is an indication of their inability to fulfill those promises.

Speaking on an Accra based FM station as part of a tour in the Greater Accra, Dr. Bawumia, said the NDCs  manifesto is empty and wondered how a party that cancelled allowances for teachers and nurses are now promising to pay professional footballers.

Commenting on a promise by the NDC to construct mortuaries in Zongos, Dr. Bawumia said the priority of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is to build schools and sporting facilities in Zongos and not mortuaries.

The Vice president said Government has spent 21 billion Ghana cedis to settle depositors of the failed banks and microfinance companies.
