The Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Nii Lante Vanderpuye has accused National Security operatives of assaulting him.
In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr. Vanderpuye narrated how he was attacked by men he claimed are National Security Operatives after he inquired about the arrest of some individuals he sent to take pictures of some ongoing projects in the constituency for documentation.
He disclosed that he was attacked at the James Town Police Station and was lucky to have been rescued by some police personnel, who witnessed the assault.
Nii Lante Vanderpuye urged his constituents not to retaliate and allow the police to handle the issue.
Meanwhile, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Odododiodoo, Nii Lantey Bannerman has denied claims by MP for the area Nii Lante Vanderpuye the individuals who attacked him belong to National Security.
