Government has debunked claims by NDC Flagbearer John Mahama that the NDC has won majority seats in Parliament.
Addressing the media in reaction to the Flagbearer’s assertion, Minister of Information KojoOppong Nkrumah said information it has does not support the claim.
He said calls by Mr. Mahama to his supporters to jubilate while the EC has not declared the results is irresponsible as it undermines the electoral process and can cause chaos.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said the pronouncements by the former President contradicts the peace pact signed by the two flagbearers before the elections, which was witnessed by the Chief Justice.
