The Chairman of Group Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom says panic withdrawals currently happening across the financial sector are justifiable because customers are afraid to lose their hard earned savings.
Expressing serious concerns about the rate of panic redemption of investments and withdrawals by clients from the various indigenous banking and financial institutions, he said the situation confronting the banking sector could have been avoided if the DKM and God is Love scam were properly dealt with last year.
He spoke with GBC’s Ibrahim Kwarteng on current affairs programme ‘Behind the News’.
