Parliament has postponed its scheduled emergency recall from the 10th to the 24th of September.
The House was expected to be recalled from recess next week for a week-long sitting to consider some emergency business.
Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the postponement has become necessary due to some new engagements that must be attended to by the leadership of the house.
Mr. Kyei Mensah-Bonsu said he, the first Deputy Speaker and the Minority Leader will travel to Indonesia over the weekend for a world forum.
He said the Speaker will be in Korea next week which is why they have now rescheduled to the 24th of September.
