Parliament starts sitting on Mondays

Parliament of Ghana will start sitting on Mondays, commencing on Monday July 15, 2019.

The sitting is to meet the constitutional requirements relating to the coming into force of the subsidiary legislations before the House.

The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu presenting the Business Statement for the seventh week ending Friday July 12, 2019 noted that the Business Committee proposes that the House sit on Mondays, beginning on Monday July 15, 2019.

The information is to serve prior notice to all Members of Parliament (MPs) to aid in their planning for the weeks beginning Monday, July 15, Monday, July 22 and Monday, July 29, 2019.
