Pokuase/Obetsebi Lamptey/Tamale Interchanges to be completed this year- Minister

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Atta says work on the Pokuase, Obetsebi Lamptey, and Tamale Interchanges will be completed this year.

He said this at the Annual Review Conference of the Department of Urban Roads in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

He announced that 450 kilometers of asphalt roads will be constructed across the country.

Mr. Amoako Atta urged engineers and staff of the Department of Urban Roads to help government tackle the problems bedeviling the road sector.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfuor said government, is determined to provide a cost-effective and sustainably integrated road transport system to ensure accessibility, safety and reliability for national development.
