President Akufo-Addo brainstorms with political parties in fighting COVID-19

President Nana Akufo-Addo has entreated the leadership of political parties to join forces with the government in the fight against coronavirus.

The parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), New Patriotic Party (NPP),  Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Convention People’s Party (CPP), People’s National Convention (PNC) and National Democratic Party (NDP), expressed optimism that the decision taken by the government will help stem the spread of the virus and bring life to normalcy.

The political parties pledged to support government in its fight against the pandemic. 

President Akufo-Addo said the virus has no political colour, hence seeking the views of the parties in the fight.
