President Akufo-Addo says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has the blue print to develop the country and has promised unprecedented development in his second term.
Addressing separate rallies at Begoro, Kwabeng, Osino and Tafo on the first day of his Eastern regional tour, President Akufo-Addo asked the electorate to come out in their numbers without fear or intimidation to vote for the NPP.
Hundreds of supporters of the NPP in these constituencies came out in their numbers to give to President Akufo-Addo a rousing welcome.
The Eastern region is considered the NPP’s second world bank in terms of votes. This year, the party is targeting one million votes and more than 30 seats in the region.
President Akufo-Addo who was impressed with the turnout to the rallies and asked the supporters to go all out and vote without fear.
With the agenda to annex more seats and votes for the party in that region, the President asked voters to avoid what has become known as ‘skirt and blouse’.
President Akufo-Addo urged the electorate to vote for all the parliamentary candidates of the NPP to secure the needed majority in parliament.
The President said the country will experience massive development in his next government as the NPP has the Blue Print to develop Ghana.
President Akufo-Addo will end his two day tour of the region today (November 23). He is expected to visit Aburi, Atimpoku, Somanya, Odumase and Koforidua.
