President Akufo-Addo on five-day State visit to China

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo leaves Accra Friday for a five-day state visit to the People’s Republic of China. Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Information Minister designate, announced this Wednesday at a press briefing.
During the visit President Akufo-Addo would hold bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, President Xi-Jiping, on economic relations between the two countries.
The President Akufo-Addo would also participate in a business forum in the Chandong Province that would ensure that more business opportunities were open to Ghana.
He would also attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which will be attended by 40 Heads of State from Africa who have signed up to the Continental Free Trade Area to discuss infrastructure, power, education and industry on the continent.
