The Principal of the College of Languages of the University of Education, Winneba, Professor Avea Nsoh has been asked to step aside.
This comes days after the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mawutor Avorke and other principal officers were relieved of their post.
Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, “Behind the News”, Professor Nsoh described his suspension as inappropriate.
Meanwhile, the President of UTAG, Winneba, Dr. Frimpong Doku says the statement by the Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Kwesi Yankah describing the process leading to the dismissal of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba Professor Mawutor Avoke by the University Council as inappropriate is not enough.
He said words are not enough but action needs to be taken.
Dr. Doku said the Minister cannot say he was not aware of the Council’s decision.
