There is heavy police presence at the Greater Accra Regional Collation Office of the Electoral Commission (EC) as it prepares to resume collation of results in the outstanding constituencies from the December 7 General Election.
The outstanding constituencies include Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Ahafo Ano South West, Ahafo Ano North, Obuasi East, Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, Tema Central, Techiman South, and Dome Kwabenya.
Meanwhile agents of the National Democratic Congress are not present at the Collation Centre.
Mr Benjamin Bano-Bioh, Director of Electoral Services, EC, told journalists that the NDC was invited to present their agents accordingly.
He said the collation would continue regardless.
