At the Abensu Electoral Area in the Ga North Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, voting is going on smoothly.
Residents are voting to elect their respective Assembly and Unit committee Members to ensure that governance gets into the nooks and crannies.
Clearly, the people have shown up to take part in the voting process, as it commenced without any hitch.
Officers indicate that about 500 persons are expected to vote by the close of the polls at 5 p.m.
It was observed that persons with disability have some concerns, as a visually challenged and elderly woman got assisted by one of the candidates, which generated some agitation.
Security Officials intervened to restore order.
