President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to announce his first Ministerial reshuffle.
Speculations have been rife of some Ministers losing their positions.
A Senior Political Science Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Dr. Alidu Seidu says the imminent Ministerial reshuffle expected Friday by the President is long overdue.
He said the reshuffle should have happened in the first year of his administration.
Speaking to GBC’s Felix Cofie, Dr. Alidu said though there will be some surprises, that will not mean that the number of Ministers will be reduced.
He said he is also expecting that some Ministries with similar functions will be realigned to make for effective administration.
