Government will from Tuesday, February 11 hold its first townhall meeting and Results Fair for this year in the Ashanti Regional Capital Kumasi, to showcase its socio-economic achievements.
The Townhall Meeting and Results Fair which will be addressed by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia follows a directive by President Akufo Addo to the Office of the Vice President last year to produce empirical evidence on government’s ability to fulfill its 388 promises and commitments contained in its 2016 manifesto.
The meeting which will be held at the Great Hall of KNUST will see the Vice President give details with video and photographic evidence of government’s achievements.
The Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced this at a media briefing in Accra.
