Voters at La Bawaleshie Presby Basic polling station in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency were in a rush to cast their votes and leave.

This is because residents fear the violence that characterized the bye-election there will recur.

Our reporter Nathaniel Nartey visited the constituency and reports that the number of voters in La Bawaleshie Presby Basic polling station has reduced because people did not register for safety reasons.

Meanwhile, the MCE for Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly Sandra Owusu Ahenkorah has downplayed fears by residents of the recurrence of the violence that characterized the bye-election at La Bawaleshie Presby Basic Polling station in Ayawaso West Wuogon.

Wuogon told Nathaniel Nartey after voting that adequate security personnel from various agencies have been deployed to maintain peace and order in the area.
